Mission managers have cleared Discovery for launch at 2:38 p.m. EDT on
July 4. A day of additional analysis showed that the loss of a small piece
of foam from the external tank didn't pose a safety concern for launch.

During their 12-day mission, Commander Steve Lindsey and the Discovery
crew will continue evaluating new safety procedures during a visit to
the International Space Station. At least two spacewalks are planned.
