Hello,
On May 18 at approximately 0500 GMT (exact time will be available shortly),
CSUNSat1 will be deployed from the ISS. CSUNSat1 is a 2U CubeSat designed,
built, programmed and tested by a team of over 70 engineering and computer
science students at California State University Northridge.

After the deployment we will be looking for radio amateurs around the world
to listen for our CW beacon (every three minutes). I am writing to you
because I see that you have an interest in amateur radio satellites.
We are operating in the UHF band around 435MHz.

Would you be interested in listening for our satellite after deployment?
If so, I will provide more details, TLEs, etc. I would also be interested
in the names/emails of other amateurs that you know with an interest
in satellite tracking.

The beacon is a 30 character code that tells us the status of the satellite.
I look forward to hearing from you.

73s,
Sharlene, WB6FFE
